Our senior medical officer, Dr. Mohamed Shaheed
treats acute and chronic illnesses and also provides primary care and preventative care to people of all ages with multiple health issues. He treats for problems ranging from minor illnesses and injuries to potentially serious problems and chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes.
Dr. Subhash Gurnurkar has got a Medical Graduate from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India. He has a post-graduate in Anesthesia from Medical University of Vienna, Austria. He has worked in India as a consultant in Anesthesia at Hyderabad in Private Hospitals and Private Medical College from 1986 to 2004. Also, he has worked in Maldives at Atoll and Regional Hospitals, including IGMH at Male’, from 2004 to 2013.
Dr. Pradnya Jithendra Kutte did her MBBS in 2002 in Mumbai Grant Medical College, ever since she has been working in various hospitals in Mumbai.
She was graduated in D.G.O in 2008. Dr. Pradnya is trained in doing Laparoscopic tubal ligations, Diagnostic Hysteroscopy and Diagnostic laparoscopy etc. Dr. Pradnya will be taking care of consultation on pregnancies, high risk in pregnancies with medical disorder, all kinds of gynecological problems and infertility.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. Fauziah Gaphur has been working as a dental surgeon in the Maldives since 2002. Prior to this she has worked in Kerala, India since 1983. Dr. Fauziah was one of the first to join the team at IMDC hospital since its conception in 2008. Altogether Dr. Fauziah has 26 years of experience in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Amal Masoud has got a
degree of MBBch from Alexandria University Diploma Degree of pediatric from El Monoufia University. Dr. Amal has 4 years’ experience in neonatology. Our pediatrician takes care of your child’s health including physical, mental and behavioral issues. She also treats children who are suffering from minor injuries, acute and chronic health problems, and physiological and psychological growth and developmental concerns.
